Recreation continues to be a growing industry here in Montana. The closure of public lands for exclusive non-motorized use, is not only against Federal Land Management Policy, but is an economic impact to Montana communities and across the west. Montana Multiple Use Association believes that the right to access our public lands is the foundation for the legitimate recreation industry... Forest Service Travel Planning is essential to retaining the legal right to access our public lands. Montana Multiple Use Association works to insure that any closures are only made based on legal scientific data and that the environmental rhetoric is countered with independent studies that can hold up to any scrutiny.
